Thousands of people attended the 64th Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival Saturday.
The Lubbock Lions still hold the world record for most pancakes served in an eight-hour period by a non-profit.
All funds raised go to support more than 30 local charities, like Meals on Wheels, Sick Children's Clinic of Lubbock and the Salvation Army.
"We hope to raise $150,000 today," chairman Mike Moss said. "By far, most of that stays locally in the West Texas area."
There were also a number of items raffled, including a guitar signed by William Clarke Green.
