Texas is one of the states voting on Super Tuesday and we're getting new insight into what voters here think.
A poll by The University of Texas and The Texas Tribune shows Ted Cruz with an eight point lead over Donald Trump, 37 percent to 29 percent.
Cruz is up 10 points since the last UT/Texas Tribune poll in November.
Marco Rubio is up six points to 15.
John Kasich edges out Ben Carson in the latest poll.
Carson's support has dropped 9 percent since November.
Trump says he's not ready to concede Texas to Sen. Cruz, who of course has the home state advantage.
"I think now that he exposed himself as a nasty person who lies a lot," Trump said."I think he's going to go way, way down in Texas, so I think we have a shot in Texas."
On the Democratic side, it's now much tighter than in November. Hillary Clinton's lead has shrunk from 31 points to just 10.
She now leads Bernie Sanders 54 to 44 percent.
