Former Haynes Elementary land up for residential developer bids

Lubbock ISD trustees set to consider bids for the site where Haynes Elementary was located.

The proposed deed for the property, between 58th and 60th and between Memphis and Nashville, states the land will only be used for single family residential purposes.

Documents filed with Thursday's meeting agenda indicate recommends trustees accept accept a bid for $731,000 from Craft Development Corporation.

Trustees are also scheduled to consider a contract for emergency demolition of the damaged section of the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center.
