Game warden reports Bailey Co. pronghorn antelope poaching

Game animals are being targeted by poachers in our region.

A Lubbock district game warden reports three pronghorn antelope were killed on private property.

The animals were shot by a .22 caliber or similar size rifle in a field along highway 596 south of the Maple community in southern Bailey County.

The crime similar to another reported three months ago.

Operation Game Thief is taking anonymous tips and offering rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction for wildlife crime.
