Fans rally for injured Tejano band member

Our sister station MAGIC 106.5 hosted a community wide prayer for a Tejano artist injured in a crash earlier this month.

Jacob Turner, member of Tejano band, Grupo Siggno is in critical condition.

Bishop Placido Rodriguez is leading in the prayer for Turner.

A friend of Turner, Alyna Reyna Salazar said, "Jacob is a really good friend and we want him and his family to be OK and come to Lubbock to see us."

Statewide prayer vigils have been held for the band member.
