LISD responds after Estacado student brings gun on campus

LISD released the following statement regarding an incident this week at Estacado High School:

“This week, a student at Estacado High School was found with a weapon. The gun was found in a jacket based on a tip provided to administrators. The juvenile suspect was arrested without incident and parents of EHS students received an automated call that day notifying them. Estacado High School will not tolerate any school violation of this sort.”
