American Airlines begins nonstop flights to Phoenix from Lubbock

Lubbock International Airport added another non-stop destination to its list of flight departures.

American Airlines nonstop service from Lubbock to Phoenix started Thursday.

American currently has seven arrivals and seven departures daily from LBB.

Kelly Campbell, the city's director of aviation, says she hopes this nonstop service will strengthen connectivity networks for passengers.
