Warrant: Holli Jeffcoat revealed abuse to school personnel 3 weeks before death

Posted:
LUBBOCK, Texas -

Court documents reveal murdered teen Holli Jeffcoat told three different school personnel she was being raped by her stepfather three weeks before her death.

According to Debi Holland's arrest warrant, she told her daughter not to tell anyone she was being molested by James Holland because she needed him around to pay the bills.

Jeffcoat revealed to a school worker on Jan. 29, 2016 she "didn't want to go home with dad because she didn't want to have sex." The 18-year-old, described as a special needs student, also revealed she was pregnant and her mother told her she could not play basketball because "they didn't have enough money to take the baby out." She reportedly told a teacher her stepfather was going to "take the baby out with a coat hanger."

Debi Holland instructed her daughter not to tell anyone about the molestation, aiding James Holland in the continued abuse, according to the warrant.

Jeffcoat was found dead by a family member in her Lubbock County home Feb. 10, 2016. According to court documents, her throat was cut and her uterus had been removed.

A search warrant file-marked Feb. 11 indicates Child Protective Services and Lorenzo Police Department took the initial report and Jeffcoat was given a forensic interview at the Children's Advocacy Center Feb. 2 -- eight days before her death.

Jeffcoat's stepfather, James Holland was arrested in March on a continuous sexual assault of a child charge. He is jailed on a $2 million bond.

Debi Holland was arrested Friday, April 29, 2016 on aggravated sexual assault charges. She is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond, with more charges to come.
