Dawson Co. deputies: Remains found could be missing motorcyclist

Texas Rangers are waiting for test results to identify skeletal remains discovered in a field at the south end of Lamesa.

Dawson County sheriff's deputies report they may be those of a missing motorcyclist based on items found nearby.

On May 8, 2015, deputies found a red Kawasaki motorcycle from Florida abandoned just south of the city limits next to Highway 87.

Investigators go word later the motorcyclist was reported missing.
