Early voting boasts highest numbers in 10 years

Early voting in the city and school district elections is now complete.

Your last chance to vote will be Election Day -- this Saturday.

Exactly 16,500 votes were cast this year in Lubbock County -- the highest in at least ten years.

At least 11,500 of those votes were in the city.

The ballot in Lubbock includes candidates for mayor and municipal judge, 3 city council seats, 3 positions on the Lubbock ISD school board, and a bond election for Lubbock-Cooper ISD.
