Governor Abbott stopping in Lubbock to promote his new book

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Gov. Greg Abbott's upcoming statewide tour to promote his new book includes a stop in Lubbock.

The book titled "Broken But Unbowed" will be available online and in bookstores on May 17.

The governor will hold a book signing event in Lubbock on Tuesday, May 24.

He will be at Hastings at 82nd Street and Slide Road at 3:00 p.m.

Net proceeds from the governor's book will be donated to Operation Finally Home, a Texas-based non-profit that provides custom built, mortgage-free homes to veterans and their families.
