The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Business Expo at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center today, Thursday, May 12, from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. This year's theme is, Go for the Gold, and will showcase over 200 exhibitors.
There will also be free seminars from the "Chamber University: Expo Series" to educate, motivate and collaborate with local experts on a variety of topics pertinent to local businesses and employees. The seminars will be located in the meeting room on the south side of the Pedestrian Mall.
The seminars will be at:
10:30 a.m. – “Go for the Gold: Get the training you need to compete against malware and virus and keep your computer running like a champion,” by Nancy Walker, Owner of Nancy’s I.T. Guy.
1 p.m. – “The Secret that Makes the Worksite Better: The Employee Retention Partnership,” by Christy Reeves Owner of Identify Corporate Innovations.
2:30 p.m. – “The New Frontier of Digital Marketing: Tame the Wild Web,” by Brian Wink, President of Griffin Wink Advertising.
