LUBBOCK, Texas -
As part of Keller Williams Lubbock's push for renewing, energizing and donating to local communities, employees spent Red Day at the privately-funded, low-income housing organization, The Coronado Project.
The team renovated the bathrooms, turned a former classroom into a library and repainted the exterior at the former Mary and Mac school building that serves as a community center.
"We are helping families regain their self sufficiency, we're helping families regain their lives," said Coronado Project President Frank Morrison. "Every year on May the 12th, Keller Williams chooses a volunteer organization in town and goes and donates their entire day to them, we have almost 100 volunteers here from Keller Williams, they virtually shut down their office today and they came and chose to renovate this building."
The Coronado Project is committed to eliminating homelessness for families with young children.
