Debi Holland indicted on sexual assault charges

A Lubbock Grand Jury Tuesday indicted Debi Holland, the mother of murdered teenager, Holli Jeffcoat, on aggravated sexual assault charges.

Holland was arrested April 29 and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center. Her bond is set at $500,000.

Investigators allege she had knowledge of sexual abuse by her husband, James Holland, and reportedly allowed the abuse of her daughter and another child in the home to continue.

James Holland is also in jail on aggravated sexual assault charges.

Holli Jeffcoat was found murdered in her Lubbock County home Feb. 10. Detectives report her throat was slit and her internal organs were exposed.

No arrests have yet been made in her murder.
