LUBBOCK, Texas -
A restored plane flown in World War II will be showcased in Lubbock for Armed Forces Day Saturday.
Pilot Chris Rounds says there are only 600 of these still flying.
"It's a 1942 North American T-6," Rounds said. "They made over 10,000 of them. This particular one was made in Dallas, Texas and we're out flying around West Texas doing a WWII tour. It is the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor."
Lubbock Executive Air Park is hosting a fly-in Saturday for area pilots. Afterward is the Young Eagles Rally, a program dedicated to giving kids their first free flight and introducing them to the world of aviation.
