LUBBOCK, Texas -
Children and house parents at the Texas Boys Ranch spent Saturday at Joyland Amusement Park, courtesy of local non-profit Caprock Classic Car Club.
The president of that organization said it was a way to give back to the Boys Ranch, and it's only one of many ways the club supports the ranch. President Bob Trehue said the group has provided money, gifts, diapers, and other support to TBR, as well.
"These organizations, like the Boys Ranch, that help kids," Trehue said, "help the kids who really need someone in their lives to care about them and let them know that there are people who care for them and want them to do well. I think that's important."
The Texas Boys Ranch is a non-profit designed to provide care for abused and neglected children who've been removed from their homes. For more info on the Ranch, you can visit their website.
