3 indicted on felony child sex trafficking charges

Posted:
LUBBOCK, Texas -

Three Lubbock residents were indicted Tuesday on felony child sex trafficking charges connected to a traffic stop in January.

Andrew Cole, 21, and Taquolia Thomas, 25, are still jailed on $50,000 bonds.

Bradley Hood, 24, was released on bond.

Agents with the DPS Criminal Investigations Division were trailing a vehicle driven by Hood, with Cole, Thomas and a fourth person as passengers.

The group was reportedly on their way to Midland.

A DPS marked unit executed a traffic stop on the vehicle.

Troopers and agents reportedly found drugs and arrested the suspects for possession. Hood was also charged for driving with an invalid license.

The fourth person in the vehicle was found to be a minor, according to DPS.

One of the suspects' cellphones reportedly matched the number for an ad placed in the Midland/Odessa area allegedly advertising a "two girl special."
