The J.T. and Margaret Talkington YWCA Sun 'N Fun's grand opening is Saturday, May 28th. The pool and splash pad are open from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the Center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Membership to the YWCA is $55 a month for a family of four and $35 per month for an individual. The membership gives you access to all of the amenities at Sun 'N Fun.
Sun 'N Fun outdoor aquatics center features a zero-depth entry pool, three Jr. Olympic lap lanes, a splash pad with water slides, fountains and a creative play center. It is also the home of the Sun 'N Fun Spartans, is Sun 'N Fun's USA Sanctioned competitive swim team. The season starts June 6th and will run through August 7th. Children are expected to be able to swim a full 25M in Free-Style before they join the swim team. Sun 'N Fun offers a variety of in-door fitness activities for all ages and all fitness levels. There is a full size gymnasium, meeting rooms, exercise areas, classrooms, a rock climbing wall, racquetball court, weight room and much more.
