Lubbock couple named 2016 Heroes of the Year

A Lubbock couple has been named the 2016 Heroes of the Year by the Community Foundation of West Texas.

Mary Louise and Bill Kingsbery will be honored in August.

The couple quietly helped many community agencies and individuals time and time again through various generous acts.

The luncheon honoring the couple will be Aug. 25.
