LUBBOCK, Texas -

Buffalo Springs Lake is hosting a memorial fundraiser -- "Woodystock" -- a concert benefit for burn victims June 24 and 25.

Woody Miller died in an industrial explosion about 20 years ago and friends of his family started the concert to cover the expenses and help his family.

This year, it's for two burn victims from our area.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to their families and their care.

Concert organizer, Kelsie Gillman said, "We can't fix all the problems that, you know, these kids have, but the event -- this benefit -- always brings a smile to their face, and that's all that really matters, that's really what our goal is, as far as... That's why we do Woodystock."

The concert will go until 11 when they have to shut the stage down. Then they'll be holding a campfire jam session long into the night.

To donate to the Woodystock fund, the event has set up a GoFundMe page

Music begins at noon on Saturday and it will also start with acoustic acts...then Lies Camera Aktion, The Jamholers, Wade Parks Band, Mike-O-Waves, Cash Taylor, Reverend Al and the Pythons Tye Dye Haze, and The Rocket Scientist.

Cost to attend is the entrance fee for Buffalo Springs Lake.
