Grand Jury indicts man accused of attempted prostitution of 14-y

The Lubbock Grand Jury indicted defendant on a charge of attempting to compel prostitution of a minor.

Ricky James Overhulser, 53, is accused of approaching a 14-year-old at a convenience store gas pump.

According to police, the suspect pulled up next to the victim and asked her twice to get into his vehicle.

The girl ran inside the store and got her mom. 

The suspect left, but then came back and reportedly waved money at the mom asking her "how much for your daughter?."

Officers report the suspect drove off when the woman told him she was calling police.
