Judge approves protective order in Jeffcoat murder

Posted:

Judge Mike Hocker has signed a protective order for the younger sister of Holli Jeffcoat, 18, banning the girls' stepfather James Holland from knowing where she is or having any contact.
The family's attorney agreed to those terms today and the younger sister is in the temporary custody of the Department of Family and Protective Services. DFPS also filed a parental termination suit which is still pending.

Holli Jeffcoat, a special needs student was found murdered inside a home in north east Lubbock on North County Road 3200 two weeks ago.
Investigators reported her body had a laceration across her neck and an abdominal cut that exposed her internal organs, and it appeared she'd been partially burned to destroy evidence.
No arrests have been made in connection to her murder.
