    One person was killed Saturday night in northwest Lubbock when the SUV they were driving rear-ended a semi. According to Lubbock Police, Simon James Keel, 33, was driving an SUV southeast on Clovis Highway when it rear-ended the trailer of a semi truck. Keel died at the scene. The truck driver was treated for minor injuries.
