Construction on N. Slide, US 84 begins Thursday

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The City of Lubbock, paired with Utility Contractors of America, will start construction of the Northwest Reclamation Plant Pipelines Thursday.

The project will affect both north and southbound traffic along North Slide Road (County Road 1900) north of US 84. North Slide will be closed.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and use extreme caution while driving in this area.

The estimated completion date for the project is Aug. 31.
