There are still no murder charges filed in the murder of Holli Jeffcoat, 18, but her mother is behind bars.
Friday night, Sheriff Deputies arrested Debi Holland on a charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault for having first hand knowledge that her daughter was being continuously sexually assaulted by her step father, James Holland, and allowing it to occur.
According to her arrest warrant, Debi Holland knew her daughter Holli Jeffcoat was pregnant in Jan. of this year. Jeffcoat reportedly told a Lorenzo school employee: "she didn't want to go home with dad because she didn't want to have sex. The sex hurt. It also hurt when Holli ran in P.E. because she could feel her baby move. Holli said she was pregnant by James Holland."
James Holland was arrested in March for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child involving a different family member.
The warrant indicates the mother told her daughter she couldn't play basketball because they didn't have enough money to quote "take the baby out." Holli reportedly told another teacher at school: "James was going to take the baby out with a coat hanger."
The victim was reportedly told by her mother not to tell anyone she was being assaulted because they needed James to pay the bills.
According to the warrant, deputies told James Holland over the phone to leave the home and have no contact with his stepdaughters.
A co-worker of Debi Holland reportedly told investigators she was instructed to lie to CPS workers about James Holland's continued involvement with the family.
Feb. 2, eight days before Jeffcoat's murder, medical tests indicate the teen was 12 weeks pregnant.
Initially, it was reported Debi Holland told CPS that her husband didn't have a drug or alcohol problem, however last month she then confessed that he used meth intravenously in the home for an extended period of time.
Jeffcoat's mutilated body was found by her sister on Feb. 10, her throat was reportedly cut and her womb and uterus removed.
A search warrant of Debi Holland's e-mail address reportedly found numerous searches for incest porn, mostly involving stepfathers and stepdaughters.
In an interview with investigators, a family member claimed she was also sexually assaulted by James Holland. She claimed she witnessed him sexually assault Holli while she begged him to stop.
Debi Holland is held on a $500,000 bond. James Holland is held on $2 million bond.
