Grand Jury indicts suspect arrested during prostitution sting

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted a suspect arrested during a prostitution sting.

James Lamont Brown, 41, is charged with trafficking a woman through fraud and coercion.

He was arrested at a Lubbock motel on April 19 after deputies report undercover officers arranged to meet a woman through an online ad.

Investigators report the woman said Brown told her he would get her a job or get her into the entertainment business and that it would cost of $5,000 to get out of a contract he made her sign.
