Teddy Jack's raises funds, awareness for lupus research

May is Lupus Awareness Month. Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease with no known cure affecting 1.5 million Americans.

Teddy Jack's Hub City Grill is is partnering with the Lone Star Chapter of the Lupus Foundation. Teddy Jack's will be donating a portion of all sales for the entire month to our local Lupus Chapter. Teddy Jack's owner, Curtis Jordan, has a son with Lupus.  Matt Jordan's systems are currently in remission, but there are thousands of others who battle this disease every day.

Teddy Jack's will be hosting the 2016 Lupus balloon release and fundraising kickoff event on Saturday, May 14th from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. This will be an opportunity to visit with representatives from the Lupus Foundation as well as getting a personal prospective from patients like Matt and their families. The public is invited to attend.
