The International Cultural Center (ICC) is partnering with the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) for summer camp. Campers can start their morning at the NRHC and then head over to the ICC for the afternoon session. The camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 6th through 10th for children grades 1-5. Camp cost $50 and you can register on the NRHC website.
The ICC will offer classes from 1:15 to 4:30 p.m.
Olympics:Join us as we learn the history of the Olympics and travel to South America to prepare for this year’s summer games. Students will learn the symbolism and culture behind the first Olympics while participating in various Olympic games and related craft activities.
Music Around the World: Explore the history and musical traditions of countries around the world! Students will experience music from the continents of Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America while creating their own musical instruments and cultural crafts.
Culture Through Art: Explore cultures of the world through the study and creation of art in India, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. Students will learn about the cultures of various regions and create artwork representative of those regions.
