Democratic and Republican primary runoff election Tuesday

Tuesday is runoff Election Day for the Democratic and Republican Party primaries.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A handful of federal, state and county primary races that were not decided in March will be on the ballot in Lubbock.

The most notable in our region is the Republican runoff for Congressional District 19 between Glen Robertson and Jodey Arrington.

If you voted in the March primary you can only vote in the same party's runoff. If you didn't vote in the March primary you can vote in either party's runoff. 

To find your nearest voting center in Lubbock County, text your zip code only to 75-044.

You'll be sent the three closest polling stations. You will need a photo ID to cast a ballot.
