This year's Lemonade Day 'biggest yet' despite bad weather

United Supermarkets celebrated the conclusion of another Lemonade Day Monday.

United President Robert Taylor said despite the adverse conditions, this year's was the biggest yet.

"The kids still came out in droves," Taylor said. "We had over 755 stands up. The profits totaled to $98,000 for these kids, they gave over $11,000 for charity. So I think it was a huge success. We had a great participation, over 5,000, by far the most number of kids, over 5,000 kids."

He said he hopes to see it grow even bigger next year.
