DPS: Plane crashes in Hockley Co., pilot condition unknown

A pilot was injured after his crop duster crashed in a Hockley County field, according to the Department of Public Safety.

DPS reports the crash happened around 1:20 p.m. Monday and the pilot was transported to a Lubbock Hospital via Aerocare. His or her condition is unknown.

DPS troopers are on scene, waiting for the Federal Aviation Administration to arrive.
