34th and Indiana intersection reopened Monday

The intersection of 34th Street and Indiana Avenue has been reopened to traffic in all directions as of 7:30 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2016 after repairs were made to a broken water line.

City crews worked through the weekend to repair the water line and street in order to provide access to the citizens of Lubbock. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience with us while the repairs were made.

Northbound travel is still limited to one lane while additional work is ongoing. Also, eastbound and westbound traffic are reduced due to the ongoing construction on 34th Street.
