Collision sends car into playa lake

LUBBOCK, Texas -

No one was seriously hurt in a traffic crash in west Lubbock that resulted with one vehicle mostly submerged in a playa lake.

A car and a SUV collided near 19th on Milwaukee. The car spun and rolled into the nearby playa lake.

The 16-year-old driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver and passenger in the SUV were treated for minor injuries.
