Patrick names Sen. Perry co-chair of water committee

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced Wednesday a new appointment for State Senator Charles Perry.

Perry was named co-chair of the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) Advisory Committee, which advises the Texas Water Development Board on the administration of SWIFT funds. The committee also reviews the overall operation, function, and structure of the fund at least semi-annually and advises the board on any water related matter.

"These Senate appointees have a proven track record of hard work and dedication on behalf of the state of Texas and I am pleased to appoint each of them to serve on these important committees," Patrick said.
