Man sentenced to 25 years after Overton police chase

LUBBOCK, Texas -

A Lubbock man pleaded guilty in open court for evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

Milton Hereford, 33, was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Hereford led officers on a chase through the Overton neighborhood in October of last year.

Dashcam footage shows officers pulling up after Hereford reportedly crashed into a parked car in front of Raider Burrito.

Police say Hereford repeatedly ignored their commands to get out of the truck, so officers ended up using a canine unit to get him out of the cab
